Make the most of life!

  • Your friends should make you feel good about yourself.
  • Sport and hobbies are a great way to make friends. There's a soccer club, basketball club, dance group and more around every corner. Call your local Council youth worker to find out what's on.
  • Eat well, feel good and look your best. Set your own limits such as home cooked meals during the week, take away meals only on weekends.
  • Sit down when you eat and take your time. Listen to your stomach - stop when you've had enough.
  • NEVER skip breakfast - make your own, choose fruit, porridge, rice, wholegrain bread, English muffins, yoghurt or baked beans.
  • Give yourself 8 hours sleep a night so you can make the most of everyday.
  • Turn the computer or tv off and go for a walk outside with your mates.
  • Slip, slop, slap on the sunscreen - even on cooler days!
  • Tell people about your worries. Talk to family and friends, a doctor or a counsellor
